DBSAOC Intranet functions

The internal website (Intranet) is a password protected area, but it is NOT a high security password area.

The Intranet area now contains information of interest to all DBSA OC members (specifically the monthly calendar published by the Wellness Center) please see the detailed written website status report on why the calendar needs to be in a password protected area of our site.

If you are a DBSA OC member who performs a service function within our chapter and wish to access this area, you will need to know one or more additional user id's and the password(s) to be able to access the "Secured Data Area's" on the intranet site. .

The Intranet area contains such things as the personal phone numbers and email id's of your board of directors, DBSA meeting leaders etc., and this type of information must remain restricted (this is the purpose of having "Secured Data Area's"

User id's and passwords have been setup for the various groups that have expressed a desire and have a proposed application for them. The group moderators for these groups should be giving them out at group meetings. We also have set up a generic member id and password for any member of DBSA, a "Guest" password for any prospective member of DBSA and a Mental Health Professional id ("mhp"). To obtain one of these Id/password combinations to access our Intranet area simply eMail or call the Bipolar Resource Center tell them what group you are a member of (DBSA Group or prospective member or Mental Health Professional) and ask them for it.

Important if you are a mental health professional request the mhp password not the guest password and when you first visit the "Intranet" area select the portant
