The There is a guest login id ( guest) you can use to access our Intranet and the password for this id is an acronym for the phrase "I didn't escape I'm on a day pass". For an explanation of why you need a password when we give one out here see above. We also have information we don't want spread out all over the Internet.
We routinely post only Orange County Chapter Activities, and Activities announced by the California DBSA organization that are reasonably local or that we feel would be of interest to Orange County DBSA members. We also post activites sponsored by other organizations when the DBSA OC Chapter will participate in some way (for example when we provide an information booth) or when we feel the activity would be of interest to our members.

DBSA has a policy of non-affiliation with other organizations and each DBSA Chapter is autonomous within the Chapter Guidelines published by the National DBSA Organization. When we post material from other chapters or organizations other than DBSA, we do so only as a convience to our members.

is Open and it is highly likely that any DBSA OC member would be eligable for (Free) membership there - however the center has made a conscious decision not to promote availability of services in a public forum, but rather to have any prospective members referred by qualified organizations (DBSA OC is considered such a qualified organization). A public forum includes any Web Site, any newsletters etc. - We do however; have a great deal of information on the center, and it is available on this Web Site, but it is only available beyond the wall in the Intranet area of this site. Because our Intranet area is password protected none of the information available there will be picked up by Internet search engines. This means that the center's materials and information will not propagate through-out the Internet.
